MESSOA introduces its newest network IR vandal dome camera–the NDR891; a high definition (1080p) 2 megapixel IR dome camera with day/night function, ONVIF compliance, and triple streaming capability.
Along with MESSOA’s break-through sensitivity enhancement technology, Lumii II, the NDR891 is specifically designed to bring out every detail; even in pitch black conditions. Due to a combination of network capabilities and MESSOA’s expertise in video processing, the NDR891 is ideal for outdoor situations that demand maximum image quality and real-time surveillance over the Internet.
High-Power IR Illuminator for 24/7 Surveillance
The NDR891 incorporates a mechanical IR cut filter to capture color images in day time and b/w images at night. It also features an IR illuminator to further enhance the camera’s ability to produce high-quality image in lowlight or nighttime conditions. When light conditions are under 10 lux, the IR illuminator automatically activates to provide an impressive 25 meters (82 feet) viewing distance. A uniform light intensity feature ensures objects can be captured in full detail without flares. Additionally it employs exceptional single-control lighting technology to reduce power consumption by as much as 30-40 %. This feature extends the lifetime of LEDs and thereby minimizes energy bills.
Vandal Proof and Optional Heater for Demanding Environments
Certified to IP67, the die-cast aluminum alloy housing protects the camera against extreme weather and vandalism, making it perfect for outdoor surveillance. The optional heater ensures camera operation in extreme cold weather. Along with a 1000KG vandal proof and IP67 water proof metal housing the NDR891 is guaranteed to keep working in all conditions.
Flexible Codec Selection with H.264, MPEG4 and MJPEG
Supporting H.264, MPEG4 and Motion JPEG formats, the camera provides more flexible video encoding depending on user’s desired image quality or effective bandwidth usage. Furthermore, the Smart Encoding function allows users to encode a specified region of interest (ROI) with higher bit rates for better image quality. Above all, the H.264 compression standard greatly reduces the video size when compared to MJPEG and MPEG4 without compromising image quality. As a result, the camera records longer while retaining clear images.
The NDR891 also supports RTSP streaming, allowing users to view live video with a freely available VLC player rather than with a web browser.
Intelligent Detection Capabilities
As part of MESSOA Smart IP products family, the NDR891 has a variety of intelligent detection functions including motion, audio, blur and network disconnection detection. MESSOA’s blur detection is enhanced to prevent false alarms caused by sudden image coverage. This feature not only keeps a constant unblinking eye on any scene, but also saves time and money by only recording when a specific event happens.
No Data Lost in Case of Network Disconnection
In case the network goes down, the Ethernet detection functionality will keep you informed via E-mail or SMTP, and the video will be recorded to a local SD/SDHC card for up to 32GB to ensure nothing is missed. Moreover, when the network is live, video clips or JPEG pictures which are saved on the SD/SDHC card can be retrieved remotely via FTP.
Advanced Noise Reduction
By utilizing MESSOA’s Lumii™ II technology for sensitivity enhancement the NDR891 is capable of delivering clear, sharp images while reducing blur and video noise thus saving back-end storage space. MESSOA uses 22% less space than other cameras.
Vari-focal, 3-Axis and PoE Features Facilitate Simple Installation
The built-in 3~9mm Vari-focal lens and 3-axis rotation makes installation and adjustments a simple task which saves installation time. Proper view angles are easy to set up using only a single lens thus reducing inventory requirements. In addition, the NDR891 supports “Power over Ethernet” (PoE) so that only a single network cable connection is used to view and power the camera.
Analogue Monitor and Two-Way Audio Support
Other supported features include monitor out and two-way audio. The “Monitor out” support allows an analogue video monitor to be connected directly to the camera. This provides an alternative to viewing video other than a web browser over the network. If an external speaker is connected, its two-way audio support allows a remote video viewer to directly talk to people in the camera vicinity. This is useful for warning intruders or arranging displays.
